Materials:
- K Hook
- Bulky yarn in gold and burgundy or 2 strands of worsted weight yarn (I used two strands of red heart super saver in gold and burgundy)
- Needle for weaving in loose ends
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
- ch= chain
- dc= double crochet
- st= stitch
In Burgundy ch 17
Row 1: In 3rd ch from hook make 1 dc, make 1 dc in each remaining st in row. turn (15 dc)
Rows 2-5: Ch 2 and make 1 dc in each st in row. Turn. (15 dc)
switch to gold
Rows 6-10: Ch 2 and make 1 dc in each st in row. Turn. (15 dc)
switch to burgundy
Rows 11-15: Ch 2 and make 1 dc in each st in row. Turn. (15 dc)
*Repeat rows 6-10 and 11-15 until you have 10 burgundy rectangles or until scarf is at your desired length (ending with a burgundy rectangle).
Weave in loose ends and add fringe to scarf (if desired)
